Village clothing factory helps increase left-behind women’s income

Over 30 women were busy completing orders on their respective production lines of the Sanxiang Textile and Clothing Factory in Wangcheng Village, Huayuan Town on November 5.

Wangcheng Village is located on the outskirts of Huayuan Town, with convenient transportation. To expand the employment channels for rural women and help them increase income, the village has actively explored flexible employment opportunities for women, with a development model of “small and micro-sized enterprise plus rural women”. Small and micro-sized factories were introduced to the village, making it convenient for women to work nearby.

“Our orders have always been quite large, and now the production for orders has been scheduled until the end of the year. We are working overtime to promote production, and there are over 30 people working here every day. The clothes we are producing now will be exported in batches to the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East,” said the head of Sanxiang Textile and Clothing Factory. Sanxiang Textile and Clothing Factory, a labor-intensive enterprise, mainly produces casual dresses, and its products are mainly exported to overseas countries through foreign trade.

Since its establishment, the clothing factory has received continuous orders and a large demand for labor, attracting many rural women to work and helping them increase income.
